- Up to 8 people per journey and vehicle. The route price is a flat rate and does not depend on the number of passengers. For larger groups please send us a request.
- Do you also drive at night and on changeover day (Saturday)?
- Yes. TauernTaxi operates around the clock, 365 days a year — at night, in the early morning, on public holidays and during heavy snowfall. On Saturdays in the winter season transfers are in high demand, so please send your request early and we will reserve your pick-up time.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- We will pick you up anyway. Please give us your flight number with your request — then we can see the actual landing time and move the pick-up accordingly. There is no surcharge for the waiting time.
- Can I get a child seat?
- Yes. Child seats are part of our equipment and cost no extra charge. Please state in your request how many children are travelling and how old they are, so that the right seat is fitted before we set off.
- How far is Obertauern from Salzburg Airport?
- Around 70 kilometres. By taxi the journey takes approximately one hour. Obertauern has no railway station of its own; the nearest one is Radstadt, and from there it is another 25 minutes by car.
- Can I book the return journey to the airport at the same time?
- Yes. We drive the airport transfer in both directions and you can arrange the outward and return journey in one request. The fixed price of €230 applies per journey, so a return trip means the price twice.
